WHAT IS ASEAN4TB ?

A regional platform to drive innovation, build capacity, and promote fair and collaborative TB research across ASEAN.

The ASEAN4TB coalition, initiated by Faculty of Medicine Universitas Indonesia and the Respiratory Programmatic Implementation and Research Institute (RPRI), will host its First Joint Research Symposium on 1 - 2 July 2026 at IMERI Building, Faculty of Medicine Universitas Indonesia, Jakarta.

The Research Symposium will launch region-wide collaborative TB research across four main tracks:

  • ACHIEVE-TB (ASEAN Collaborative Hub for AI in Tuberculosis)
  • CATCH-TB (ASEAN Collaborative Action to Track and Capture Hidden TB)
  • ANTERA (ASEAN Alliance for Novel TB Treatment Regimens)
  • ACE-TB (ASEAN Coalition for Extrapulmonary Tuberculosis)

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Abstract presentation will be held as part of the scientific events and the accepted abstracts will be presented offline at the Research Symposium.

The abstracts must cover the following key areas:

  • TB diagnostics
  • TB screening
  • TB treatment innovation
  • TB management
  • TB and comorbidities
  • TB prevention
  • AI-assisted technologies for TB
  • Maternal and child TB
  • TB policy and clinical implementation
  • Health and well-being post TB
  • TB and nutrition

WHO CAN SUBMIT THE ABSTRACTS?

  • Clinicians
  • Professionals, students, and trainees
